When I got my first Tesla I used the Autopilot probably 75% of the time even on city roads. Then I had so many incidents of it trying to run off the road, hitting a bump that knocked me into the next lane and it going ding, ding, ding take over, hitting potholes and causing flats, stopping on a highway for no reason. And knowing that it doesn't have the common sense reasoning to deal with edge cases just makes it hard for me as a Tesla owner to believe stats like 2x safer.
